Guests who joined the Signature Dinner with Korean Fine Dining celebrated chef   Hyun-ho Shin enjoyed the traditional Korean delicacies at the Fiji National University Nadi Campus last Friday.

The Korean Embassy in Suva said menus presented were cold raw fish soup (Korean-style ceviche) as the appetizer. The main dish was Stone Pot Bibimbap and Mul Kimchi and dessert was milk ice flakes with sweet red bean and rice cake

The guests were impressed with nutrient balances and mix of vegetables from the menu. Each table was decorated with Korean flag and Korean letter printed place mat to enhance guests’ experience of Korea during the dining event, the Embassy said.

Prior to this dinner, Kimchi making demonstration event was also successfully held at noon with many participants. One of the audience said “I tasted Kimchi many times, but it was my first time to see how Kimchi is made.”
