Post Fiji Limited employee Ana Rokosuka yesterday wore a sari for the first time as part of the Diwali celebration.

“I love it and since the company comprises different ethnic groups, the celebration signified this important aspect,” Ms Rokosuka said.

“This is the time of the year in which we as a family come together and celebrate with our Hindu family and friends. I am a proud Fijian.”

She and her co-workers celebrated the festival in style.

The workers, dressed in their Diwali attire, decorated their office to mark the occasion.

Senior auditor Ramapa Naidu said the company celebrated every festival.

“We celebrate Christmas, Eid, and every other festival and Diwali is one of them,” he said.

“This festival helps us to come together and share what we have with each other.”

Diwali will be celebrated nationwide on Thursday.
