More than $4000 was donated to the Kidney Foundation of Fiji
The Kidney Foundation of Fiji received a donation of more than $4000 from the Fiji Rajput Sarvoday Samaj for dialysis treatments and injections.
The president of the samaj, Dhan Gauri Patel, said:
“This is part of our community work, something which we can give back because it is expensive to afford some of the injections and dialysis.”
“We did a walkathon earlier on and it took us almost one month to collect all the money from the members of the samaj as they were involved in this too.”
The president of the Kidney Foundation of Fiji, Dewan Chand Maharaj thanked the samaj for the hearty donation to the welfare of the society.
