First Landing Resort aims to defend the Mount Saint Mary’s Sevens in Nadi today.

“As defending champions for this tournament we have been training for this event and we are confident that will retain our title,” Coach Filipe Koroikai said.

“There is not much pressure because we’re preparing well.

The side is also receiving coaching assistance from former Bay of Plenty coach, Les Pearson.

Meanwhile, former Vodafone 7s playmaker Waisea Nacuqu will spearhead the Tokatoka Resort Westfield Dragons campaign today.

The Votua, Ba lad will team up with Vilimoni Morawa, Ilisoni Ratusai, Inia Naqia, and Josaia Wini alongside RKS players Jerry Yavala, Livai Driu, Kilioni Sisiwa, Levone Nawai and John Wesley College’s Sairusi Bakata.

The tournament starts at 8am today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
