The new driving range at the Fiji Golf Club is expected to be completed by January.

The club’s resident professional Veramu  Rokotavaga says Government contributed $22,500 while Bank South Pacific (BSP) game $10,000 in the upgrade.

“We’re grateful to the Minister for Youth and Sports, Laisenia Tuitubou, for supporting a plan put forward by his predecessor,” Rokotavaga said.

“Every golfer has a weakness or two when it comes to executing the perfect shot.

“Practicing more at the new range can help golfers perfect their swing, reduce their slice and be more comfortable with different clubs.

“We are expecting this new driving range to open in January next year.”
