The Nadi Barracudas were crowned the overall champions of the 2014 BSP Short Course Age Group Nationals after clinching a total of 201 medals following the finals yesterday.

The western-based powerhouse club dominated the Damodar City Aquatic Centre in Laucala Bay after winning 96 gold medals, 68 silver medals and 38 bronze medals.

Barracudas Swimming Club president Ben Rova hailed the meet a success with the level of competition being raised from previous years.

“It’s been a fantastic few days of competition,” Rova said.
