Pleass Global Limited is developing a portion of its 420-acre site in Namosi to build a visitor centre underlining the company’s growth.

Marketing director, Cate Pleass confirmed this following questions on Kila Eco Adventure Park’s increasing popularity and further plans for the South Pacific Stock Exchange-listed company.

“Ultimately our strategic plan is to continue to extend the park and add new elements so that people can come back and visit us again and enjoy something different,” Ms Pleass said.

“We will provide a visitor centre which is already in its construction phase and also in the long term we have quite a significant interest for an accommodation provider to build an accommodation site.”

Ms Pleass added the strategic plan would enhance and highlight Namosi’s pristine and rainforest location.

“It’s very pleasant for people to come here. It’s an escape from the hustle and bustle in town,” Ms Pleass said of the Eco park.

“There’s also a lovely spot for birdwatching, jungle treks, the waterfalls and enjoying the forest of Fiji which is a different side to Fiji’s beaches.”

The visitor centre would house information about the company, the 420-acre land known as Kila World, its eco-tourism facilities, etc.

Ms Pleass said: “We’ve had a lot of interest and a lot of visitors and we’re continuing to get large corporate groups as well so we’re very pleased with the growth and development.”

Meanwhile, Pleass Global’s $7 million water bottling factory which began construction the past year is nearing completion with hopes to move early next year.
