In a bid to promote the services they provide the Ministry of Education launched their week-long exhibition at the Referral Centre in Suva yesterday.

The Acting Permanent Secretary for Education, Basundra Kumar, said their exhibition would be informative, educational and exciting.

She said this year’s exhibition not only featured the ministry itself but other stakeholders like the universities, the teacher training institutions and the scholarship unit.

“The purpose of the exhibition is to bring about awareness to the public of what goes on at the education offices at the headquarters,” Mrs Kumar said.

“The exhibition brings out the services to the general public whereby all functions and services could be accessed.”

Mrs Kumar said the event was also part of its ministry’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in bringing the services to the public.
