Raniga Invests In Ultra-Modern Hair Removal Technology

Fijians can now enjoy the ultra-modern hair removal technology claimed to guarantee permanent hair reduction.
This follows the introduction of this technology by Kaya Samsara, the new beauty parlour at TappooCity on Level 4 in Suva.
The boutique offers laser hair removal technology that have been medically-tested.
More importantly, the laser technology allows for permanent hair removal after a prescribed number of treatments.
Kaya Samsara is owned by Bobby Raniga, the man who also brought the popular ProfessioNail franchise to Fiji.
Mr Raniga confirmed his investment in Kaya Samsara, along with ProfessioNail at TappooCity housed together, exceeds $200,000 now.
Mr Raniga said the acquisition of the technology was aligned to their goal of being a one-stop beauty shop.
“Everyone wants to feel good and look good, and we, at Kaya Samsara, want to be in the forefront of this change by introducing safe, new and affordable treatment for our people,” said Mr Raniga.
“We are already well established in the spa and wellness industry, and are well represented in Denarau in our operation of day spas, nail, hair and beauty.”
Mr Raniga is confident that the new offerings at Kaya Samsara sets it apart from its competitors.
He said: “The future looks bright. Kaya Samsara will become a one-stop shop for all types of skin treatments.”
Expert training
An expert technologist from abroad, Bonny Song, was brought to train Kaya Samsara beauticians on how to use the technology.
She explained laser impulses target the hair-colour pigment melanin around the root of the hair follicle.
“This melanin absorbs the light energy from the laser and converts it into heat,” she said.
“This heat is transmitted to the roots of the hair, and because of the heat build-up, the hairs fall and the roots are destroyed. The destruction of the roots means no more regrowth.”
