Young Practitioners Shine

It was a night for young human resources practitioners to shine as the 9th Fiji Human Resources Institute’s annual convention ended on a high note.
Nine awards were given out last night at the Westin Resort and Spa, Denarau Island in Nadi.
Walking away with the Gold Award in the Young HR Practitioner category was Prabhashni Singh of the Fiji Electricity Authority.
Silver Award recipient was Nilan Vagh of Danam (Fiji) Limited while the Bronze Award went to Shazleen Farha Naaz of Mindpearl Fiji.
Not to be outdone, the senior HR practitioners too put up a good fight and after a close competition on which HR practitioner topped the board in HR practices, Pawan Praneet Sharma of Carpenters (Fiji) Limited walked away with the Gold Award.
Silver award went to Manasa Saraqia of the Fiji Electricity Authority while the Bronze went to Maca Taoba of HFC.
Organisations which have best human resources practices were also recognised last night.
The Gold Award went to Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority while Fiji Electricity Authority had to be content with the Silver this time around.
Bronze in the organisation category went to Air Terminal Services.
The night ended with a gala dinner and plans for a bigger event next year.
