Fijians Head To Marseille

With only a few days to go before the Vodafone Flying Fijians play their first test against France, the team head to Marseille today.

Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee confirmed all is well in camp in Toulouse, France.

“We broke camp last Wednesday and all the Europe-based players returned to their clubs for the weekend games while the rest of the team remained in Toulouse,” McKee said.

On Monday we will go bus to Marseille where we will be joined by the rest of the players.

“Everything has been progressing well so far and though there have been a few issues here and there, we are moving along well. Keeping everything going at the current pace and tying in the final details of the game plan is what’s left now.”

McKee had previously highlighted his desire to work on rucks and scrums, especially working on the forwards.

“We have been working hard on our forwards especially on ruck situation and scrums our motive is to win quick balls.”

Meanwhile, Crusaders star Nemani Nadolo had confirmed his availability for the tour over the weekend and becomes the latest addition to the roster of players.

The Vodafone Flying Fijians take on France on Sunday before taking on Wales at the Millennium Stadium on November 15 and against USA on November 22 at the Stade de la Rabine in France.
