Swire Reduces Bunker Adjustment Factor For Australia-Fiji Shipments

Following a review of the current bunker prices, Swire Shipping has decreased the Bunker Adjustment Factor for all shipments ex Australia to Fiji.

This will be applied to all cargo shipped on or after November 29
Vessel/Voyage: Forum Samoa III 138N.
Current Rates: US$205/TEU, US$410/FEU & US$10.25 /RT
New Rates: US$155/TEU, US$310/FEU & US$7.75 /RT
New Caledonia and Fiji to NZ
Meanwhile, as a result of the trend in price of bunker fuel this past month, Swire Shipping has introduced a surcharge for shipments from New Caledonia and Fiji to New Zealand.
The Swire Shipping Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) will be as follows:
US$312.50 per TEU
US$625.00 per FEU
US$15.25 per REVENUE TONNE for Break-bulk and LCL cargoes
The surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Bill of Lading date of December 1 or later on all Swire Shipping services from New Caledonia and Fiji to New Zealand.
