Information Sharing Deal Signed Between Fiji Sun And Xinhua News Agency

The Fiji Sun yesterday signed an information sharing agreement with the Xinhua News Agency, China’s national news agency which has more than 180 news bureaus worldwide.

The agreement will allow the Fiji Sun access to Xinhua News Agency’s news content global.
It also gives access to Xinhua News Agency to Fiji Sun news and content.

The agreement was signed by Fiji Sun managing editor news, Maika Bolatiki and Xinhua News Agency chief correspondent, Philip Liu.
Mr Liu said the agreement means strategic partnership between Xinhua and the Fiji Sun.

“With this partnership and cooperation, Xinhua wishes to first deepen friendship with the Fiji Sun and through Fiji Sun, Xinhua stories will be read by the people in Fiji,” he said.

“Because Fiji Sun is very influential, we can also quote Fiji Sun stories to enrich our source of information giving us a better scope about what is happening in Fiji.”
