Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji U20 football team is taking their buildup to the 2015 FIFA Under-20 World Cup one step at a time.
Vodafone Fiji U20 coach Ravinesh Prasad said he was pleased with the players’ performance so far.

“The boys have been working really well with technical advisor Frank Farina and myself, they are learning to adapt to the opposition style of play,” Prasad said.

“Playing against an overseas team is different, in Fiji when we play local teams, the tempo of the game is very different compared to that of teams outside the country.”

Prasad said with the games that the U20 side had played; he can already see the changes in the players.

“Their reaction time on the field is much quicker and has changed, they are a lot more focused and going up against teams who have different techniques and style, they are not only learning but doing a good job.”

The team will play their last game on Tuesday against the Newcastle Jets.

The team departs for NZ on Wednesday for the OFC President’s Cup in Auckland on November 17-23
