Reality TV Show For Emerging Artists

It all started with the “RAIN” music clip.
Today this has transformed into a project, known as the Rain Project.
An initiative led by young musician, Elena Baravilala to provide emerging artists with a developmental platform to not only launch their future career from, but also to become agents of change and national transformation.
“Change begins inside of us. It really depends on how young people look at their own lives and we want to give them a new perspective on their own and home grown potential, without having to look for it overseas,” Elena shared.
“This project is about change and finding our unique identity as a nation in the midst of the challenges of globalization and technological advances.”
Until now, The Rain Project has received phenomenal support, with FNU’s College of Medicine coming on board as partial funders, F1 hosting the website and FBC TV doing a reality TV documentary series about the journey of 10 emerging artists in the project.
The programme will run for 11 weeks which will be documented by FBC TV as a reality TV show.
Rain seeks to help in the development of talented individuals into their passageway of being artists in their own right.
“Rain symbolises change, the ability of a young person to change their perspective on their own potential, and how they can become an inspiration for others and help build a better Fiji for all,” Elena added.
Elena is an award winning artist and was recently named the Artist of the Year during the inaugural FIPRA Music Awards.
