The Vodafone Fiji Under-20 football team are anticipating a good game in final match of their Australia tour today against Newcastle Jets.
Head coach Ravinesh Kumar said the team was progressing well.

“We are looking forward to the final game and we’re really just looking at the team structure now,”Kumar said.

“The players are really progressing well and they understanding the game structure we’ve got now.

“We’re continuing to build on the system we’ve been working on for awhile.

“Now and we’ve got a game plan and structure that the players have grown into. It’s all about perfecting the rhythm of the team through practice matches.”

Kumar said focus would remain on the current game ahead of 2014 OFC President’s Cup next week in New Zealand.

“Right now, we’re just going to focus on the game ahead of us against the Newcastle Jets and once we’ve finished that, we’ll have the next five days to think about the OFC President’s Cup.”

Meanwhile, the Vodafone-sponsored side beat the Australian Fijian All-Stars team in a warm-up clash 3-0 on Sunday night.
They are expected to head to New Zealand tomorrow for the 2014 OFC President’s Cup.
