Dragons Chase Historic 7s Win

The Tokatoka Resort Westfield Dragons aim to add another feather to their cap by winning the 2014 Bayleys Coral Coast 7s this weekend.
Head coach Epeli Lagiloa said since the club’s establishment in 2012 they had won every major tournaments in the country, but were yet to lay their hands on the Bayleys Coral Coast 7s tournament.
This time around Lagiloa is confident as he works with their new set of players hoping that they would do the impossible.
“We have new players for this tournament as usual our preparation is on course,” said Lagiloa.
“The exclusion of Vatemo Ravouvou is a sort of setback but we have to look ahead. .”
The Nadi based-club is in Pool D alongside Samoan Champions Lauli’i Lions, Coastal Bulls, and Fiji Chemicals Vuda.
The side will be banking on the experiences of former Vodafone Fiji 7s reps Asaeli Vula, Jiuta Takubu and Waisea Nacuqu
Meanwhile, the official launch of the 2014 Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s is held today with a march from Lawaqa Park to Tappoo, for the unveiling of a plaque.
Later it will be followed by a cocktail at the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji Resort.
