Thanks to an increased $35,000 naming rights renewal deal for 2015, signed with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI).
As one of the leading insurers, operating in Fiji for 58 years now, LICI general manager Vimlesh Dhar was extremely pleased to provide continued support for one of FSC’s most popular sporting facilities.
“Our vision is to become the preferred Insurer of choice for the people of Fiji and this is one way through sport that LICI is progressing towards that objective,” Dhar said.
“With assistance from the Council, the LICI Courts is sure to continue to offer the best in sports facilities for all people, especially youngsters and we are happy to be a part of that, as well as provide prominence to our LICI brand.”
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which was signed last week with the Fiji Sports Commision chairman Peter Mazey would be over the next three years and the facility will now be branded as the ‘LICI Courts’.
“The Fiji Sports Council team is gracious for LICI’s commitment to us and our facilities. This sponsorship will play a huge role in supporting our daily operational needs to ensure that we continue to deliver the best to our valued customers,” Mazey said.
The LICI Courts is widely used by netball, volleyball and five-a-side soccer.
