Students of Kinder-Care Learning Centre in Cunningham, Stage 4, were reminded to work hard and be dedicated to their studies.

The reminder came from the Ministry of Education’s principal Education Officer for Primary and Pre-School, Josua Sevutia during their graduation on Thursday at the Central Cuisine restaurant in Suva.

Mr Sevutia said the Government had acknowledged the hardwork of kindergarten teachers.

“Kindergarten is a time when children particularly need high quality personal care,” Mr Sevutia said.

He said kindergarten programmes nurtured warm relationships among students, teachers and parents.

“A kindergarten teacher builds a close personal connection with each child in their care.”

Mr Sevutia said they wanted to make Fiji a knowledge-based society.

Roshni Lal, the owner of the centre and had been operating for the past 18 years, said it was a proud moment for parents to celebrate their children’s first achievement.

“The kindergarten experience lays the foundation for future academic success,” Mrs Lal said.

She said they worked hard to mould students in order for them to have a bright future.

“We are trying our best to provide the best quality education for all our children,” she said.
