School children of Tuva Primary School in Nadroga visited Parliament in Suva yesterday. This was the first time for the students to visit Parliament.

Year 8 student Mohammed Tanweer said he was fortunate to be part the tour.

“I find this trip very educational since I was able to know how the members sit in Parliament,” Tanweer said.

School headteacher Subramani Krishna said the trip would help students broaden their knowledge.

“This is a one-day trip and I know it will help children know more of what they learn in the classroom,”Mr Krishna said.

The school has a roll of about 400 students.
