Four Officers Sacked

Four Land Transport Authority officers were terminated this week for alleged corruption related cases.
This was confirmed by the LTA chief executive officer, Naisa Tuinaceva.

Mr Tuinaceva said two more officers remained suspended pending further investigation.

“Internal investigations found the four breaching the internal systems and process, collusion and misappropriate behaviour,” Mr Tuinaceva said.

He said the authority would refer the case to the relevant authorities and a decision on the remaining suspended officers would be expected soon.

“The termination should send out a strong message to the staff and individual at LTA that there is absolutely no place for corrupt people here at LTA,” he said.

“We want to have a corrupt-free working environment, where our customers are served professionally and efficiently.”
The public are warned not to bribe LTA officers.
