The Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) is now planning to visit all the tikina to thank them for their support for the party in the September general election and the people for casting their votes.
Might be a little tough in some areas given the election figures.

Cheap place?
Some beneficiaries of a recent housing scheme are now contemplating moving out and finding other places to live in.
The scheme was aimed at providing housing to low income earners. But Dickie Bird says many of them are now struggling to pay their weekly rent.
For a family living at a one-bedroom flat they pay a weekly rent of $99, which amounts to $396 per month while those living in two-bedroom flats pay $111 per week which makes it $444 per month.
Dickie Bird said some residents are now contemplating of moving out as they say they have found cheaper rent elsewhere.

Bollywood
Interesting to note how some outfits now have people acting in top jobs for a long time. One wag said this is the Bollywood Strategy.

Board approved
During a high-powered meeting in Suva, all sporting organisations were told to pay $20 for their membership.
Dickie Bird said the head of one of the federations quickly objected and indicated that he needed to get the approval of his board before making the payment.
This brought laughter around the table as they know that this very person had often approved of bigger payments even without consulting his board members.
