Dare To Be All You Can: Nath
The Year Eight students of Waidra Muslim Primary School were challenged to do their best.

Acknowledge and appreciate what you are today and dare to be all that you can be tomorrow.

The Assistant Minister for Education, Vijay Nath, said this while challenging Year Eight students of Waidra Muslim Primary School at the school’s prizegiving ceremony.

“Today, you stand on the brink of a new chapter in your lives. Take a moment to reflect on everything that you have achieved and appreciate just how far you have come,” he said.

“Where-ever you may find yourself and whatever challenge you may have chosen to follow and explore hold true to what shaped your yesterdays.”

Mr Nath went over the changes to the examination policy from next year.

“From 2015 Year Six to Year 10 school -based annual examinations will be replaced by a final examination that will be prepared by the Ministry of Education,” Mr Nath said.

He said the coverage of the examination will be the same for all schools and the examination paper will be of the same level and standard.

“A marking guide will be provided to be used by teachers,” he said.
“Answer scripts for Years Six, 10, 12 and 13 will be marked by a different set of examiners appointed by the ministry.”
