Members of the Wheelbarrow Boys Association of Labasa Town are looking forward to more business during the festive season.

This is the time of the year when they experience a boost in business.

Association president Tomasi Bulitavu said, “Some people look down on us in what we do for a living, but we carry on because we love our job”.

“Business is going on well and we look forward to Christmas. We take our job seriously because we love what we do and we think it is important especially when it comes to helping the older citizens with their heavy loads.

“There are about 14 wheelbarrow boys in Labasa Town and we provide for our family from the money we earn with our service,” he said.
