Students of Narere Primary School were urged to prepare well for the next academic year and continue their hard work during their annual prizegiving last week.

The school’s headteacher Chandra Kumar, said students must work hard from the beginning of the school term.

“Education should be a priority in life for all students and if you will study hard, you will become successful,” Ms Kumar said.

She said it was important for students to set their targets and always aim high.

Chief guest and Minister for Education, Mahendra Reddy, thanked the stakeholders of the school for their commitment in putting the event together.

“We thank the school for their contribution to the development of education within this vicinity,” Mr Reddy said.

He also commended the students for their commitment and sacrifice throughout the year.

Also present was the acting permanent secretary for Education, Basundra Kumar.
