Executives of Total Fiji were on Friday doing front line jobs at various Total service station in the country.

At its new concept station, Total Laucala Beach Service Station, Fiji operations managing director Martin McCarthy was cleaning the wind shield of a vehicle.

The event is part of the French oil company’s commitment to excellent service as management committees act as front liners in various locations the world over.

The special occasion is known as Total Day of Service.

Mr McCarthy said: “Total has a system called Top Service; it’s something we have across the world in our entire network.

Measure of quality

“The idea of it is that we try to measure the quality of service that we give in our service stations to our customers, also benchmarking ourselves against that of our competitors.

“It is also to benchmark our level of service against other Total networks in other countries in the region.

“We believe that service is one thing that differentiates us from our competitors. We like to see a very good level of service given to our customers on our forecourt and they should insist on it.”

Customers gave positive remarks and feedback on that day.

Branding

Meanwhile Total service stations in Fiji are undergoing a new design – Tair image, which has being rolled out in other Total stations in the world.

More than half of the stations in Fiji have been completed and the rest will be completed by next year.
