The New Methodist Christian Fellowship’s Youth Revival Event ended yesterday with a church service at the Nadera grounds in Nasinu.

The event, which opened last Tuesday, was closed by the church’s general superintendent, Pastor Atunaisa Vulaono.

The five-day event brought youths from all around the country and abroad to learn more about the church’s teachings. At least 2000 youths were encouraged to trust and totally rely on God in all that they go through in life.

“Youths were grouped into twelve (12) teams and programmes included Bible studies, Bible quizzes, impromptu speakers, items and games that facilitates a wholesome growth in every youth’s spiritual life,” a statement from the church said.

“Youths gathered in unison despite their diverse background and felt the powerful move of God and Revival hovering above them.”

The youths also went through career talks as part of the organised activities.

This was on the areas of education, sports, agriculture and fisheries, health, law and order/drug and substance abuse, road use, British Army work, pilot training and flight attendant.

The event also provided awareness to youths on juvenile related offences, drugs and cybercrime.
