Fiji’s judiciary has welcomed another addition to its ranks following the swearing in of a Puisne Judge yesterday.

Suseela Sapuvida was ceremoniously sworn-in at Government House before President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

Mr Sapuvida has 14 years in judicial service as a magistrate and a district judge with 11 years experience in civil law jurisdiction.

Prior to this appointment, Mr Sapuvida was the assistant director legal from 1997 to 2000 at Sri Lanka’s Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
