Fiji FA Board have released the venues of the major football tournaments during their board meeting in Ba today

“Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel said that the board decided that all the major tournaments in the Fiji FA calendar will continue to be played 90 minutes.”

The Vodafone Fiji FACT will be played at various venues for the first round and the tournament proper will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

The INNK Mobile Battle of the Giants Tournament will also see first round being played at various venues and the tournament proper will be played at Ratu Cakobau in Nausori.

The Courts Inter-District Championship will be played at Churchill Park depending on the availability of the ground and the second option will be Ba.

The Board also decided Vodafone U-20 team’s tour to Myanmar, Indonesia and Malaysia to play build up matches in preparation for the 2015 FIFA World Cup.

Currently talks are underway with the respective associations for the tour.

Yogeshwar Singh, Vice President, South has been appointed as the Chairman of Fiji FA National League Board which was left vacant by late Ibrahim and Jitendra Kumar, Vice President, West has been appointed as the new Chairman of Fiji Football Referees Committee. The position of Referees Committee was previously served by Yogeshwar Singh.

Meanwhile the new transfer window for next year will open on 9th March till 31st March and it open for only three weeks.
