Rodan Excited For 2015 Pacific Games

A mother of six Mere Rodan strongly believes sky is the limit for her as she prepares for her first 2015 Pacific games in Port Moresby.

The Koro, Lomaiviti native was one of the four Paralympics table tennis players who will be representing Fiji to the Pacific Games next year. This is the first time the Paralympics table tennis sport is being introduced into the Pacific Games.

The 47 year old joined in the sport in September this year and said the sport has assisted her to be physically active which also assists in her recovery.

“I just joined in the sport in September and one thing I like about this sport knowing my condition it allows me to move around and strengthened my upper body,” she said.

Rodan aims for nothing else but a gold medal from Port Moresby.

“I have been praying hard to win gold and that will be my target,” she added.

The 2015 Pacific games would be held on June 4-18 in Port Moresby.
