Stade Toulousain speedy winger Timoci Matanavou is ready to represent Fiji in the 2015 England Rugby World cup.

Matanavou, who is currently in Toulouse, France, with his family, said it was the dream of all Fijians playing in overseas clubs to don the Fiji jersey.

The Nawairuku, Ra man told SUNsports in Toulouse, France that he would be ready if need arises.

“I am ready to play for Fiji if given the chance. It will be a dream come true and a chance to fly the Fiji flag,” he said.

“All Fijians who are playing in different clubs see this as the opportunity to give back to Fiji.”

Matanavou has been playing for Stade Toulousain for about six years now.

He started on a salary of Euro17500 per month. That has since increased a number of times after each successful season.

Matanavou also revealed that he will be getting most of the Stade Toulousain players to Fiji next June for a holiday.

“All players here wanted to go to Fiji and that will be done around June next year.”

He also stated that they were also looking at having off-season games in Fiji.
