Two more staff quarters were commissioned by the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, at Berkeley Crescent in Suva yesterday.
Officiating at the commissioning ceremony, Ratu Epeli said it was important that their staff were looked after well.

This, he said, was because they played an important role in hosting all those visiting Government House daily.

“The staff are important because they look after all the people of Fiji who come to visit Government House and all the visitors from overseas,” Ratu Epeli said.

“This is a good thing and this is a great achievement. I thank in particular the firm that was given the task to build the quarters in record time.”

Each of the quarters has two bedrooms.
