Thumbs Up For New Bus Stand

Bus drivers in Labasa are happy with the new bus stand that was opened on Wednesday by the Permanent Secretary and interim chairman of Fiji Roads Authority, Parmesh Chand.

Drivers had praised the way Fulton Hogan and MWH has designed the new bus stand.

Waiqele bus driver Gainen Kumar praised the way the bus bays were arranged.

“I admire the way Fulton Hogan and MWH designed the bus stand,” the Waiqele bus driver said.

The same sentiments were shared by Saqani passenger, Tuvita Vasulevu, who said that now they could wait for their busses comfortably.

“We come early in the morning to catch the 9am bus. While waiting for our bus we are not disturbed anymore with the dust from the unsealed surface like the old bus stand,” Mr Vasulevu said.
