Ono-i-Lau walked away victorious over reigning champions Army during the last round of the Suva Cricket Competition before the Christmas break.

Ono was first to bat and were all out for six runs while Army were all out for 36 runs, succumbing to Ono.

In other games, BSP Warriors defeated Nasaqalau with one wicket for 78 runs; Nasaqalau first to bat after winning the toss but was all out for 76 runs. VICC were victorious after beating Moce Two with three wickets for 200 runs, Moce Two getting six for 201.

Police beat newcomers GMTM going all out for 38 runs, GMTM managing three for 40 runs. Moce One won their toss and batted first going all out for 148 runs in 20 overs beating Covenant Brothers who were all out for 46 runs in 12 overs.

Covenant Brothers gained the sole win by default of the day after newcomers Heilala failed to turn up for the match.

All teams will go on break for Christmas and New Year with the competition resuming on January 3.
