Angelina Jolie Calls Marriage To Brad Pitt ‘Hard Work’
After almost a decade together with superstar husband Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has revealed that life as a married couple is not always easy and bright.
The ‘Maleficent’ star wed Pitt, 51, in France, tying the knot at their Chateau Miraval estate in an intimate, secret ceremony this year, reported Us magazine.
“Maintaining a marriage and raising kids is hard work. (Pitt and I) work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure that everybody is alright and everyone stays connected,” Jolie said.
“You have to really make sure that your work doesn’t get in the way. That you don’t do something that is going to put too much strain on your family,” she added.
The two stars, who fell in love in 2005 on the set of ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’, exchanged vows in front of their six children. They are the parents to son Maddox, 13, son Pax, 11, daughter Zahara, nine, daughter Shiloh, nine, and twins Knox and Vivienne, six.
