Gospel Artist Visits Naboro

Christmas is usually the time of the year inmates expect visits from family members.
This week Gospel singer Rosi Batimala visited the Naboro Maximum Security Facility to present gifts to inmates.
“It is blessing to be part of the Fiji Corrections ministry as we are able to create positive impacts on people’s lives,”Miss Batimala said.
Familiar political figures such as Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, George Speight and Shane Stevens will be receiving new sets of boots this Christmas.
“I will be donating new sets of boots which I had received from overseas donors to inmates serving life sentences at Naboro.
“Passion to reach out to the lost souls drives me and this is the perfect time to share what we have with those in need,”she said.
Miss Batimala, a composer and once renowned entertainer in major resorts in the West said this was part of her dream.
“I used to compose and sing worldly songs but I now use my talents for the Lord.
“I now experience inner healing feelings within me and I know it is all because of God,”she said.
