Fijian Officer Ends Indonesia Training

A senior Police officer from Fiji recently graduated from the Indonesian National Police Staff and Command College after seven months of intensive training.

Superintendent of Police Juki Fong graduated last week together with other participants from Indonesia.

Participants completed a seven-month training on Middle-Level Leadership Course at the INP Staff College, which covered a wide range of area in Police work.

After completing the course, participants are expected to be in charge or hold senior leadership positions at Police stations around their countries.

During his stint at the Staff College, SP Fong has been able to gain experience on current issues related to national security.

The collaboration was part of a memorandum of understanding between the Fiji Police and the Indonesian National Police signed in 2011.
