hat’s up with the missing Police pay saga? Dickie Bird was told that if the backpay money was already allocated to the Police Department in 2004, then it should be in there. Senior officers then (who are still in the force) should be able to account for it or know where it was spent.

If the money had been moved away, so the then Minister for Finance Ratu Jone Kubuabola and his finance people should be held responsible as they were the ones who hold such authority for the transfer of funds.

NO TRUST

Can people who boast to be God’s chosen ones be trusted at all?

Well, one such fellow has been banned from entering a certain institution after he betrayed the trust of those in authority. They found out that he had other intentions apart from preaching the word of God.

MEDIA TOGETHER

Great to see willing help across the news media following the death of Sundip Patel, managing director of the C.J Patel Group and the man whose vision built the Fiji Sun to where it is now.

Special thanks to the teams at CFL and FBC and especially Hank Arts across at the Fiji Times.

WAITING GAME

The arrival of an expatriate coach of a prominent sporting body is likely to be delayed. Word is that the Fiji National Sports Commission still has to resolve some questions on the funds needed to pay for his salary.
