Bollywood stars, Tusshar Kapoor, Zarine Khan and Ali Asgar touched down at the Nadi International Airport yesterday for the Bula Desi Bollywood Show this week in Suva and Nadi.

Surrounded by fans, the stars were amazed by the warm welcome and their followers.

This is the first time for the actors to visit Fiji.

The two shows will be at the Vodafone Arena in Suva on Friday, January 9 and at Prince Charles Park, Nadi on the following day.

“I’m excited to be here and looking forward to meeting my followers in-person,” Tusshar Kapoor said.

He is the son of Jeetendra, a famous Indian actor in the 1980s and 90s. Mr Kappor made his debut with the film Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai in 2001 and has worked in more than 30 movies to date.

Sizzling beauty Zarine Khan, an actress and model, is also excited and looking forward to flaunt her charms in a number of dance items.

Miss Khan made her debut in Indian cinema in the movie Veer in 2009, but has also acted in Tamil and Punjabi films. She was also nominated for the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut in 2009.

Commonly known as the ‘Daadi’ from the famous TV show, Comedy Nights With Kapil, Ali Asgar is a famous Indian TV comedian and actor.

Mr Asgar has won a number of awards for the Best Actor in Supporting Role and Best Actor in a Comic Role by the Indian Television Academic Awards.

Meanwhile, show manager, Vineel Nand said the two shows promised a lot of entertainment and a chance for the fans to meet the stars.

“We have also organised a Dinner Night With Stars during which 50 first fans will receive 50 per cent discount on the ticket price,” Mr Nand said.

He said the first 50 fans would be given front row seats during the dinner night at the Nadi Event Centre at Votualevu.

The stars are being accommodated at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa in Natadola.
