Dickie Bird has retired from Coconut Wireless and Mickey Bird, a half-brother, has flown in.

Mickey Bird gives thanks for the many contributions Dickie made when Coconut Wireless started.

However, Dickie Bird will still be around and will come out of retirement to help from time to time.

FLOATING IN MONEY?

A big Asian fish is in the country.

Mickey Bird has been told that this big fish wants to buy an island in Fiji and when told he had to pay premium first which was in millions and was willing to pay on the spot. This big fish also wants to sponsor Fiji Rugby and be involved in rural electrification.

The big fish is also willing to pay for airfares for some civil servants and also for their accommodation and meals in Hong Kong for them to see his business..

THE RA CHRISTIAN STATE

Just before Christmas, a Ra chief was sworn in as so-called President of the so-called Ra Christian State and a former schoolteacher as its so-called Prime Minister.

A legal representative of the state was to have visited the Queen.

Mickey Bird has been informed that the so-called president has lost all his entitlements from Government and the Police are carrying out investigations on the swearing -in.

The so-called president and the Prime Minister of the so-called Ra Christian state could end up in a new home in one of the Fiji Corrections Centres.

QUESTIONS ON TRUST FUND

Ratu George Cakobau (Junior), as the rightful overseer of the Bau waters, knows there is a Trust Fund for the money from the fishing licences in the Bau waters. When he asked for money from the Trust Fund to help one of his children’s education, there was no money.

Where has the money gone too? Is he entitled to the money? Yes, he is because of his role, but he is not a signatory to the fund.

Isn’t this fishy?
