Expect Bollywood Masala: Kapoor
Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor (front left) is welcomed by InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa staff Vishalni Krishna (front right), Sakaraia Telawa (standing left), and Peceli Baroka at Natadola yesterday.

If you are looking for some Bollywood masala, then don’t miss the Bula Desi Bollywood shows tomorrow night at the Vodafone Arena in Suva, and Saturday night at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

The shows will have hit songs, dancing and full house comedy, says Bollywood actor, Tusshar Kapoor.

“It is a good energy and has a lot of colours, styles, costumes and good choreography,” Mr Kapoor said.

“Hope the people of Fiji will enjoy the effort that we have put in together as we have rehearsed a lot in Mumbai and you will see all the Bollywood masala.

“I am beginning to take time to enjoy Fiji with the difference of madness of Mumbai.

“Here, it has warmth and the people are nice and there is a lot of positivity in the air.”

The 38-year-old actor will also dance to his own hit songs, including the two acts of eight minutes as much fun as in a blockbuster movie.

He had also performed in London and Dubai. He said he would explore Fiji during his week-long stay.

“I have seen the local people now and they have their own amazing charms as I have seen them and location in the previous Bollywood movies that were shot here, including the beaches,” he said.

Mr Kapoor is the son of former blockbuster actor, Jeetendra.

He made his movie debut Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai in 2001.

He later acted in comedy hits movies like the Golmal (2006) Golmal returns (2008), Golmal 3 (2010), Om Shanti Om (2008), Dhol (2007) and C Kkompany (2008).

Meanwhile, the group yesterday visited Sabeto Village in Nadi for an iTaukei traditional welcome ceremony and later hosted to a press conference.

Last night they were guests to the Dinner with Stars at the Nadi Event Centre in Votualevu, Nadi where members of the public in attendance also met them.

The group is expected to be in Suva today.
