Bula Desi Bollywood Concert at the Vodafone Arena in Suva last night lived up to the hype.

The action-packed concert ended with beautiful colour, hilarious comedy, captivating music, and breathtaking dances.

Bollywood performers Zarine Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Ali Asgar featured grand entries, followed by never-before-seen acts.

Fans cheered for the charismatic and beautiful Ms Khan for her brilliant performance on some of her most popular chartbusters like Surili akhiyon wale from her first movie Veer.

“I’m really excited and happy to perform for my Fijian fans and I’m confident that all our fans will have a great night,” Ms Khan said.

Mr Kapoor also gave jaw dropping dance performances on his uniquely choreographed hits songs like nikamma kiya iss dil ne, golmaal golmaal among others.

For the first time, Mr Kapoor performed 17 dance moves in one act and he had changed seven different costumes.

Mr Asgar lived up to expectations at what he does best by making people laugh with his spontaneity and funny gags.

He kept his Fijian fans giggling the whole show.

The chief guests were the Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya and the Indian High Commissioner, Gitesh Sarma.

The second and final show will be held today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
