And once again we are hearing of the so-called dreams and visions and prophesies that spell the doom of Fiji.

Not surprisingly, these prophesies are coming from those well known for their not so impartial views about Fiji and who are sitting pretty in other countries.

One such smart aleck has been screaming that 2013 is the Year of Change from well, 2013. Someone remind him this was two years ago.

Bigger Bula

We hear big plans are in the pipeline for the Big Bula Water Park on Denarau Island.

If word on the street is to be trusted (many times it is) instead of confining the water slides to the inflatable ones that they have right now, more solid and permanent ones will be constructed.

Nice going Big Bula Water Park.

Critic criticised

A Samoan government employee who likes to criticise Fiji is facing criticism himself.

Tupuola Terry Tavita, suspended Samoan government newspaper Savali editor and strong supporter of PM Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, is apparently not wanted back by his own staff.

Tupuola was suspended after he was arrested and charged with attempted rape, said to involve a journalism student.

Now his staff are said to be petitioning the PM asking that no matter what happens in the court case he does not return. They do not like the way he treats them, a letter on the issue is reported to say.
