Taveuni School Gets $20,000

The Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama yesterday  donated $20,000 to South Taveuni High School.

The fund  will pay for the completion of two classrooms that will accommodate Year 12 and Year 13 students.

School principal Anil Shankar thanked the PM for personally visiting the school and inspecting the facilities there.

“This is a timely assistance provided by government and we are thankful to the Prime Minister.”

Mr Shankar highlighted that this year, the school is aniticipating an increase in the school roll due to government’s assistance.

While in Taveuni, PM Bainimarama inspected works at the Somosomo hydro project.
