The Suva Football Association is pleading for former Vodafone Fiji Under-20 captain Jale Dreloa to be included in the FIFA U20 World Cup squad.

The Fiji Football Association has suspended Dreloa from participating in all levels of soccer after the failed to report to camp in Ba

Dreloa has written to the Fiji FA on why did not attend camp.

“We fully support Drealoa and we want him in the team,” Suva FA president Mahendra Prasad said.

“His some domestic problems which was why could not attend camp.”

The Bua native arrived in Suva last week and wants to play for the national side.

“We feel sorry for him (Drealoa) and he shouldn’t be banned from playing the sport he love,” Prasad said.

“Drealoa has written to Fiji FA and we fully behind him.

“Drealoa could not contact the team officials and we really feel sorry for him and we hope that good sense will prevail.”

Meanwhile, Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel said they have forwarded the letter to the team management to decide.

And the Board of Control will make the final decision.
