Fortech Suva will have a tough task when they play their first game of the Galaxy Premier League against Nadi on Sunday.

With Nadi setting the pace over the weekend with their 6-1 win against newcomers Tailevu/Naitasiri, Suva Football Association president Mahendra Prasad said it would be an uphill climb for the capital city boys after losing to Ba in the Pillay’s Garment Champion vs Champion.

“Nadi is a very good team especially since we will be playing in their home ground,” Prasad said.

“Suva really needs to step up and we really need to train hard in order to start our first Galaxy Premier League well.

“Now is the time for the coach (Gurjit Singh) to look and assess the team and see where our weaknesses lie and improve on that.”

The Nadi-Suva match kicks off on Sunday at 2pm at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

Fixtures: Saturday1.30pm Labasa-. Lautoka; Sunday: 3pm Nadroga-Tailevu Naitasiri;

3pm Rewa-Ba.
