Naulu’s Case Adjourned

The case against former Fiji Police Inspector Timoci Naulu has been adjourned.

Naulu, who was charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption on two counts of bribery, appeared before judge Justice Sudharshana Del Silva at the High Court in Lautoka yesterday.

It was alleged that between September 25 and 29, 2013, Naulu without lawful authority solicited an advantage of $5000 from a Kamlesh Kumar to not to file charges against him.

On September 29 Naulu again allegedly accepted advantages of $200 and AUD$200 from Mr Kumar to not file charges against him.

Naulu will next appear on February 6 at the High Court in Lautoka.
