Five inmates will be attending the Navuso Agriculture School from next Monday.

This was confirmed by the Fiji Corrections Service (FSC) director rehabilitation, Superintendent Salote Panapasa.

She said the inmates had passed the tests and criteria for selection.

She said the five who were about to be released, would benefit from attending the school.

“They will be under the supervision of the farm manager, Reverend Malakai Tuikadavu.

She said they would get their progress report from the school.

The inmates are Tomasi Bulu, Sitiveni Dravo, Pauliasi Tagilala, Savenaca Matavu and Poate Biutoga.

Some students from the Fiji National University (FNU) will attend the school too.

The inmates were at Navuso yesterday during the opening of the new dormitory by the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama.

The Prime Minister, after his visit to the Navuso in 2013, promised them to build a new dormitory and the renovation of the school.
