What happened?

Labasa won their first game at home in the second round of the Galaxy Premier League at Subrail Park yesterday.

The Babasiga Lions drew first blood in the 24th minute through Taione Kerevanua.
Lautoka took time to settle down.

Half time: Labasa 1-0 Lautoka

In the second-half, the heavy rain affected the game making it very hard for both teams to play well.

Peni Finau scored the equaliser for Lautoka in the 90th minute. Leone Vurukania earned a yellow card in the 90th minute before Maciu Dunadamu scored from a penalty in the dying minutes to seal the win.

Sekove Finau was not happy with referee Rakesh Varman’s decision and confronted him at fulltime. Police and security officers escorted Varman out of Subrail Park.

Star turn: Peni Finau of Lautoka displayed excellent skills throughout the game.
Big play: Labasa goalkeeper Filipo Daugunu made some daring saves.
Comments: Labasa coach Bal Sanju Reddy said; “I’m quite happy with our performance and especially winning at home. Lautoka is a tough team to beat. But we managed a win in our second game and looking forward on our next game.

Lautoka coach Lambert Sarju said “We had a lot of chances scoring but did not capitalise on it.
