What happened:

Nadi were denied a win after Suva staged a fightback to draw 1-1 in the 2015 Galaxy Premier League at Prince Charles Park yesterday.

Nadi was in control of the match and launched frequent attacks and it paid off in the 18th minute when Jolame Vukivuki was fouled by goalkeeper Emori Ragata. Ratu Josefata Dugucagi was on target.

Suva played constructive football and their prayers were answered after left link Dave Radrigai equalised in the 45th minute.

Halftime: Nadi 1- 1 Suva

In the second-half, both teams failed to score although they had a lot of opportunities.

Big plus: Jolame Vukivuki played a good game.

Star turn:

Poasa Bainivalu played well for Nadi and needed more support in midfield.

Comments:

Nadi assistant coach Pranesh Amarsee said: “The boys did not stick to the game plan.”

Suva coach Gurjit Singh said: “We had a lot of opportunities and we needed someone to score goals.”
